DOCTOR PAUL FARMER 1959–2022 — The loss of Paul Farmer, who inspired the work of Zanmi Lasanté-PARIS since 1993, is irreplaceable. His vision and his mission will live on in Haiti and around the world through Partners In Health and Zanmi Lasanté.

A holistic vision of health

Zanmi Lasanté – PARIS (ZLP), a registered non-profit association (French law of 1901), was created in 1993 at the initiative of Doctor Paul FARMER (1959–2022), founder of Partners In Health. An anthropologist, physician and Professor of Public Health at Harvard, he was an internationally recognised figure in the fight for the health of the most deprived populations.

SUPPORTING HEALTH: Health, Education, Training, Food and Development are inseparable and, since 2001, have been our chosen fields of action. We work alongside PIH in a few villages on the shores of Lake Péligre in central Haiti.
